Plant Sales

The main source of fundraising for Growing By Grace are our plant sales. Mary's green thumb has provided so many plants from her very own yard. All of these hearty plants are native to our area and thrive in this Louisiana climate. We hold these sales about 3 times per year but anyone who stops by knows that Mary is willing at anytime to dig plants out of the yard when needed. Many supporters of Growing By Grace have generously donated their own plants, many of which come from Master gardeners. The plant sales have also included many donated items, like bicycles, toddler toys, furniture and more. Our clients beautiful hand crafted items are always available for sale as well. These unique crafts include wooden crosses, hand painted pirogues, rosaries, jewelry and more. Please follow our Facebook page for the next fundraising date!

Prayer Blankets

Whether for a little boy or a little girl, Mary's prayer blankets are a beautiful beginning to baby's life of faith. Mary's daughter made the first prayer blanket years ago for a dear friend. This keepsake has become a tradition for many families to share their faith and love. The prayers, printed by our board member, Joe, can be read each night to ensure a faithful path for baby and family. A variety of cuddly, colorful fabric is available to choose from. Donations

Growing By Grace depends on the generosity of our supporters so that we may continue to guide our clients to a life of faith. All donations are used directly for clients. These donations allow us to purchase clothing, shoes, food, communication resources and bible study for our clients.
